In my recent message re my use of a ferrite rod antenna to receive at 73kHz, the description of the amplifier is rubbish! What I should have said was that the tuned ferrite rod formed the gate input of the 2N3819 FET, the drain was earthed for RF and the output was taken from the source. This gave very high Q and a reasonable match to the radio's input. Mike ==== |
