So it goes on and on something about nothing !! Ferrite
cores !!
If you want an efficient antenna and have enough room
Shack or Outside use a conventional antenna or an AIR WOUND loop or
COIL.
Ferrites are handy es convenient for small QRP projects
but for the serious LF DX operator with QRO in mind go for
anything but ferrites.
Yes ferrites for LPF filters, matching transformers
in PA's but as a substitute for antennas it has all been tried before and does
not compare with the normal wire antenna or even a reasonable sized
loop.
Don't wast ur time go for the Real thing. LF operators
seem to be easily fooled by ferrite cores and elongated ferrite
rods
