Oesten Maekitalo, known as the father of mobile telephony communication in 
Sweden, passed 
away in June 16th, 2011. At his funeral today he is honoured by the swedish

commitee of URSI, the International Union of Radio Science. He has done 
excellent work for 
the benefit of radio technology and for his country. May he rest in peace =
