Hi Jean-Louis, LF group,
there is a fascinating
article on ELF propagation, which has many details on
ZEVS (and also references Tom Clancy's novel):
Fraser-Smith, A.C.,
Bannister, P.R., 1998: Reception of ELF signals at
antipodal distances
Radio Science 33,
83-88.
The pdf used to be at
It also mentions a dipole orientation of 77° /
253° from Murmansk, so we might expect a slightly
weaker signal in Eastern Europe.
R. Barr, D. Llanwyn
Jones, C.J. Rodger: ELF and VLF radio waves
Journal of
Atmospheric and Solar-Terrestrial Physics 62 (2000)

Stanford VLF-group's
directory
can be browsed for a wealth of
interesting information.

Grazie mille
Marco.
I knew about the
Trond infos for a long time. The purpose of my question was
to try to identify some data about ZEVS coming from
any other sources.
As you probably
know, getting accurate data about any russian system
is quite a challenge (specially if it's a military
system !)

The info comes from Trond Jacobsen researches:
