Hi Mal,

It might be worth considering when referring to peoples poor RX capability that local QRM is on the increase and difficult to overcome no matter how good your set up is.

I agree with what you say up to a point about the causes of lack of activity, I also think all this VLF stuff has had an unfortunate impact on on the regular bands (136/500kHz).

I will be sorry to see you go, as a relative new comer to 136kHz, I was delighted to get your signal report/capture of my mere 25W of RF. You made my day!

I haven't been on recently while I experiment with antennas in the better WX. Back soon though.
