Hello Roelof and every one else.
Thank you all for the info, the question arose because I need to replace my ageing valve Siemens Pegglemesser due to technical smoke, W & G SPM19s are out of my price range at pressent and most of them are in Europe. My intention is/was to use it as an SLMS and possibly as a VLF RX, although I do seem to have SpecLab working now. Your comments will be much appreciated.

And, yes the D2155 has a headphone output.
The beatnote is 1000 Hz, a little too high for my liking, but by far not as worse as some Wandel and Goltermann SLM. 
These are either 1500 or 2000 Hz.
