someone of your local ham radio club, who could be convinced to start

Congrats to that reception. There are only a few amateurs who have
transmitted on the 46 km band and reached some distance. DF6NM,
OE5ODL and DK7FC. Current WR is 904 km, to be beaten ;-)
It would be useful if the VLF amateur density in PA would be a bit
higher, isn't it? ;-) I'm just doing transmissions on LF and see that
there are not really many grabbers active on LF. It seems the grabber
density on VLF is higher indeed :-)
Unfortunately the WX forecast doesn't look promising for the next
weekend yet...
