OE5ODL is currently transmitting a carrier on 8969.992 Hz, which is visible on the DK7FC, DF6NM and OE3GHB grabbers. At 10:20, there seems to be a pronounced enhancement in DK7FC's 0.42 mHz "6000" window. At the same time, the trace is beginning to show up in the 4.5 mHz "600" window at the top. At DF6NM at 0.47 mHz, there is a clear dropout beginning at 10:20.
Today there were two M and a C class solar x-ray outbursts, see attached screenshot from
which produced very visible SID enhancements on the MSK signals in our wideband VLF windows.
It may be coincidence, but it looks like the last x-ray peak at 10:20 UT coincides with the effect on the OE5ODL traces. This would then probably be the first detection of an SID on an amateur-generated VLF transmission.
Best 73,
Markus (DF6NM)
