Hi Uwe
Many thanks for that. I can confirm LOS at 09.40UTC, although due to
high noise levels at that time, only 3dB to 6dB less than your
signal, I would have said 09.44UTC, not until 10.00UTC was there a
10dB drop from your signal level.
So that is a positive identification then and you are my first
Amateur signal on 8.9kHz, since and due to improvement in my RX
capability.
Attached is a 24Hrs capture of your signal.

Hmm, looks to me like Uwe was possibly back at 08.04Z, needs
more
time to confirm.
Odd coincidence of 04 past the hour ? Chris started at 06.04,
my
LOS of Uwe 06.04, back at 08.04Z

Hi Uwe
I am very glad I left the RX on your frequency, I have a much
more
convincing capture now with peaks 10dB above the noise.
The LOS here appears to be 06.04.23 Z, does that coincide with
your off time?
Congratulations on a very good signal.

Imagine there's a signal, it isn't hard to do

Betreff: LF: dj8wx-marginal?
It's a very marginal signal, it's difficult to select a
pallet
to show
in a capture, its spot on 8.970022kHz, it's been there
all
day, its
definitely a line, perhaps when Uwe goes off I shall see
if
it's just
John Lennon syndrome (imagine, dreamer).
If it is Uwe it's my first signal on 8.9kHz and 718.1km.
Antenna DK7FC E-Probe.
Delta44 Sound Card, Locked.
Spectrum Lab FFT 423uHz.
