Stefan, this is interesting. Signal was
visible here 16:30 to 17:00 UT, and consists of two tones at +- 25 Hz plus
some weaker modulation continuum.
Google finds a reference to Tacamo (military
airborne transmitters), mentioned in Dec 2009 in the Yahoo VLF
group:
Now since 18:00 UT there is a plain carrier exactly
on 17.6 Hz with comparable strength. Paul Nicholson's DF
spectrum
sees it around 90° / 270° azimuth (probably
west if strong in TF).

There is a strange trace at 17.8 kHz that appears
rather weak on my grabber but very strong on the TF3HZ VLF grabber. What is
it? Any ideas?
