Do you have current information on the Alpha signals - sequence vs. location? Normally hear two of the transmitters like this recorded a few minutes ago on 11905. There's info at vlf.it but not sure it is up to date. Any info would be appreciated.

A quick receive check is whether you can actually hear the most distant Alpha transmitter as well, ie. all three dashes on 11.905 kHz during the evening.

Another test is whether you can occasionally see -40 dB modulation sidebands in a milliHz-resolution spectrogram. These appear irregularly (often for a few hours around 6 UT), and are caused by phase alterations on some of the Krasnodar dashes. This is probably some sort of coded information, piggybacked on the navigation system.

I likewise am getting around 30 dB sig above noise with a non resonant antenna. With my 137 Khz array resonated on 9 Kcs the improvement is at least 20 dB
better, unfortunately there is so little Dreamers acty diverting the system is not worth while.

I've got the Alpha with -60 dB and about 25-30dB over noise. Maybe I'll soon catch the first "dreamer".
I am still not sure if my configurations are allright now. But trying some antenna locations around my house brought the best result at the postition I have fixed the MiniWhip now.
I hope, it's good enough. Otherwise I will have to quit thinking about receiving at home.

Betreff: LF: Dream 9

VLF
I had some spare time today and checked VLF Alpha on 11905 minus 65 dB and loud with 150 metres non resonant inv L.
My rx has a 1 Khz bfo offset and on speclab the calibration looks ok for normal acty but at QRS600 it might be a different story!!
RX af is LSB/USB selectable at 3 Khz and 20 Hz
No signals visible on 8.9 Khz, nice clean screen
Anyon active ?
