Dear LF Group,I monitored frequencies around 8.97kHz for most of today, but no identifiable signals from OE were seen, unfortunately. I also took the opportunity to take a screen shot of the Alpha beacons as received in IO91VR, during a lull in the local mains noise. As you can see in the attachment, this is the same sequence as Markus reported. The screen shot was taken with the small VLF loop and preamp used for 8.97kHz, aimed in a compromise NE direction, and using the SDR facility of SpecLab as the receiver. With 3Hz FFT resolution, the strongest "K" beacon is about 30dB over the noise level, the weakest "E" beacon about 15dB above the noise. All three signals are audible, although the "E" signal is rather faint. Cheers, Jim Moritz73 de M0BMU
