Hello LF/VLF,
in your opinion, could it be possible (i.e. sensible) to "couple" somehow the coax feed of both the PA0RDT Mini-Whip (R) and a VLF E-probe, as roughly depicted in the attached figure?
Then an HF RX would be used in the shack for f > 100KHz (signal coming from the Mini-Whip) while the PC sound card with SpecLab would be used for f < 100KHz (probably < 24KHz) coming from the VLF E-probe.
