Hi Markus Thanks for the info on the Loran data.Unfortunately, I have a local PLC carrier that wipes out the EU watering hole here as it switches on and off and produces a fairly wide band splatter on the plot. Too bad, as I plan on installing a dedicated 100-150m perimeter loop next weekend aimed at EU. Otherwise the 2200m band here is devoid of any other nuisances. 73 Scott On 12/2/2010 9:44 PM, Markus Vester wrote: Hi Scott, it's dark up there now! Last winter when American Loran was still alive, Port Clarence (AK) was often visible here around the clock: http://www.alice-dsl.net/df6nm/LoranView/LoranView_0912.htm (second trace from the left). I wonder if you could perhaps dedicate one of your grabber windows to the Eu slot ~ 136320, during the first part of your night? Slim chance I know... Best 73, Markus (DF6NM) |
