Novices and New amateurs pse note that over the years many QSO'S took place with only 10w across the Atlantic on 160 metres which is the same as the 600 metre band. Propagation on 160 and 600 is vy similar.
Just re-inventing the wheel

I just got the permission to operate an experimental beacon on 505.14 kHz and I will start first test transmissions over the weekend in WSPR-Mode.

The beacon identifier is DI2AF and I am looking forward to any reception report.

  >  TX-Frequency 505.14 kHz (Dial 503.64 kHz).

  >  Technical data of DI2AF:

  >  Beacon ?TX. abt. 7 Watts out;

  >  Ant: 40 meter horizontal wire approx. 9 meters over ground;

  >  Estimated ERP: 20 mW;
