No Trouble in Suffolk Chris, we smuggle them up the Creek with muffled oars
and store them in the cellar of the Red Lion :-)) Though I think about it we
would probably need a bigger boat for a 141T sytem, they are a bit heavy
:-)) ....but nice and can be easily serviced. 3 more RF head modules
usually available on ebay take it up to 18GHz.

Might be worth trying the microwavers as well from that score. I have taked
the liberty of copying to the UK Microwave Group

Subject: LF: Free LF spectrum analyser

Dear LF group,

I have an old Hewlett Packard spectrum analyser which I want to get rid of -
free to a good home. It covers up to 300 kHz.

It comprises three modules in a 19" rack case 22cm high:
1. A 141T display module (on the left).
2. An 8552B IF module (at the bottom).
3. An 8556A LF module (at the top). This is what sets the range of
frequencies it will handle, this one going 0 to 300kHz. (There was at least
one other type available, going to about 30MHz.)

Photo attached. I'm not sure whether it works fully - last turned on a few
years ago, and as I lacked the manual I couldn't work out how to get it
working fully. I had the impression that it worked but I didn't know how to
drive it.

It's heavy, say 20-30kg. You would have to pick it up, though I live in
Leeds and could consider driving it to somewhere in Yorkshire. To Lancashire
might involve customs duties on the border.

If more than one person wants it I reserve the right to choose
idiosyncratically, e.g. who is nearest ;-)

73,
Chris Trayner G4OKW
