it looks
as if the plastic used in those B+Q sheds absorbs RF.   Pity, it was going
to house HF ATU

Since you can't do much more harm to your shed, Andy, why not try different 
parts in the microwave?

Maybe it's just the shelf, or some fixing brackets.

It'll be useful to the rest of us, though sadly not yourself!
