Rik and all Just updated to V2.0 and got the receiver setting right! I forgot it was a 1.5khz offset.... Now seeing G4WGT but the band is very crackly with sferics. Dave. just launched the WSPR software, spots will be uploaded.
I can see on
www.wsprnet.org that you already have a good catch.

From: Roger Lapthorn <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Sunday, 19 September, 2010 17:43:26 Subject: LF: 137.5kHz WSPR - reports appreciated This afternoon I dropped the lower part of my loop so it now lays on the ground. Tuning seems unaffected, but the loop area is about 10sq m greater. Overall it is hard to see small changes but G3XIZ does seem to be giving me a consistent -22dB which is maybe 1dB better. My 137.5kHz WSPR beacon is on this evening and I'd dearly love to get a few new reports, maybe from a little further away. Clearly at any distance copy will be right on the edge. 73s Roger G3XBM -- http://g3xbm-qrp.blogspot.com/ http://www.g3xbm.co.uk http://www.youtube.com/user/g3xbm G3XBM GQRP 1678 ISWL G11088 |
