Having simply tuned and matched my 5m coax plus 28MHz halo (as a top capacity hat) I'm now putting out the grand level of 8uW (+/-3dB) on 136.93kHz in QRSS3 from my 2W out beacon TX. This is a loss of 54dB, which sounds about right.

Later today I'll compare levels in the local areas against those obtained using the earth electrode antenna (used to get 14.9km a few weeks ago).

Should any of the nearer locals be able to look for the beacon signal, I'd appreciate screen shots and reports. Next step is to crack on with the TX part of the transverter and increase the PA output from 2W currently to more like 20W.
