Interesting results , 500 propagation looks not be quite as the old
books suggested !
I have seen some odd things over the years with cw beacons from the
south of the uk
round 1200 z when the band should be closed ..
I wonder was the signal showing into holland at that time , Ive noticed
that if the path
to the web-sdr is not very good , then , TA seems to be open , the
same on 7 meg
no sig at Holland , then good sig from the usa

Inspired by some friends I gave WSPR monitoring on 502.40kHz (dial) a go.
I
thought this was a good way to defeat the "MF low season" up here in KP03
where
there is no real darkness atm.
To my surprise my setup logged quite a few spots of two UK stations
between 22
and 02 UTC. Here are a few snips from the WSPR database (last - G4JNT
