Hello Jim,
Aah, ok. Well, i haven't done this test. As usual, i took all the time
to transmit although i wanted to prepare that test. The QRN level was to
high and Markus told me that he is not visible on my grabber so i
thought there will be nothing to receive :-( And the QRN itselfe is not
the best way to check receiver performance. But we will do that in the
next tests! Maybe the ALPHA stns are an alternative but even tose were
OFF during the last test...

Dear Stefan, LF Group,
Which vertical antenna do you mean?

Well, on 15/05 you wrote:

I was just curious to know if you tried this, and if so, how loud the
results were... Back in 2000, I did some tests on 136k and 73k from
the 100m high Decca Navigator mast at Puckeridge. The receive SNR was
actually very good, thanks to the quiet rural location, but it did
need about 40dB of attenuation at the RX input.
Cheers, Jim Moritz
