-well you made it to Alaska Andy - Laurence KL 1 X remote from /5
Good day everyone:
Laurence, I was more than happily surprised when I got up this morning and checked
the WSPRspot database and saw the lone KL1X decode. It didn't dawn on me at
first that it was from your QTH in Wasilla, AK. I thought something was amiss in
/5 land, but then realized it was a decode from Waaayyyy up north... Whoooeeee !!!
Happy Me !!! And given the fact that the signal was across all land mass ( 3,283 miles)
with no water, I consider it a great accomplishment to get there. WOW !!! Getting to WA7KGX in Oregon was a good feat too I believe ( 2,123 miles ) on 10 watts, with a
Windom at 32 feet AGL.
Thank you very much to everyone who tried to receive my signal, I saw decodes from
stations I don't know. Still hoping for the elusive EU / UK signals to and from.
73 to all, and have a marvelous day ::::
