Dave,

in fact it is one frequency that can be used, with max. 10kHz bandwidth, thus 69.950 +/- 0.005 MHz. But if you put an USB TX on 69.950 and "key" it with a 2kHz tone you have CW on 69.952 ... etc.

That's interesting.

It's quite a narrow band....possibilites for the usual narrow-band modes...
CW/PSK/WSPR/QRSS/DFCW?

Babelfish translation below:-

"The Council of the IBPT, pursuant to article 13 of the law of June 13, 2005
relating to the electronic communications, decides to authorize the holders
of a radio ham licence(HAREC) to use frequency 69.950 MHz on secondary
basis, with a power of 10 W EIRP and a maximum bandwidth of 10 Khz. The
radio hams wishing to make experiments on this frequency are required to
make the statement preliminary to the Institute either by mail or with the
address email [email protected]. This decision between in force at the date of
its publication."

Dear all,

completely off topic but maybe of some interest:
With immediate start all Belgian radioamateurs holder of a "full
licence" have access to 69.950MHz (+/- 5kHz) with 10W EIRP on NIB.
BIPT (our Ofcom / FCC) has to be informed prior to the first activity.
See http://www.bipt.be/ShowDoc.aspx?objectID=3160&lang=nl (for those
who can read Dutch or French)
