Hi Warren - still some way to go. The shack is still essentially "dark" but I have been running very low power on a couple of transmitters Ive built whilst in China and Singapore just to see if they actually put out power!
Im getting close to where I want to be on rx senstivity and s/n, which is a big step forward this short vacation trip; have a little way to go on 137 with some weak impulsive noise from somewhere, but very happy now with 500.
So its been a valuable couple of days at home. Trouble is of course theres a whole list of other things that need doing and I get only a few days to do them too...dig/push snow from A to B via C seems to be upper on this list at the moment...
Ill be back for Christmas and hopefully by then Ill know where Ill be working next year - hopefully in AK but not sure in this market place...
