Dear Graham,
at first thanks for the first short description. Found the "packets" on the grabber. What does the abbreviation "Throb" mean and where can one find a description?

Ok Walter

Well that is a good  question ! ...

Its a  narrow  band  data  mode that  uses a combination of   multi  tones and  amplitude modulation .. the  tones relay the  data  and the  amplitude modulation  provides the  syn-pulse .. so  every character   has its ''own sync pulse''  so the  system has no  'lock up or  sync time''

I am using  FLDIGI  as the  tx software .........  you  need to be very  close on frequency to decode

Tnx - G ..
