Ive put up and refined the 500Khz listening system here in Wasilla/Palmer Alaska and reduced the noise to some extent (much better and on 137 too) -
Ill leave the receiver on dial 502.4USB WSPR for the next period +24 or so.
Antennae is K9AY in Omni mode (2 loops) - K9AY not as sensitive as I would like on 137 in this config but looks good at 500.
Ive up a probe for LF VLF but this requires cabling which I just didnt have time to finish into the house but it looked good and sensitivity was good as s/n not bad at all. Nice bright Loran lines in the right places --
Im now traveling again and wont have control of the AK receiver for the next 48 hours.
