I would expect a -6dB drop, not -3dB.
Average power of the tx will be halfed,therefore current drop to 0,7x,
pep power per signal wil be one fourth.
Remember the two tone test of a ssb tx.

Added  PSK31  on  503.300  , will be a  -3 dB  drop in peak level when in simultaneous  TX due to  tx alc action

as it looks like the  condx are worse ?
 
What is the  peak signal level ?

running  :  fldigi , throb mode -2- center  frequency  503.000 Khz
 
TX  set USB , Rx 'on during  60 second tx pause ,
 
Interested to  see  how the  mode prints / recovers  in the  noise / qsb
