Subject: LF: 500 KHz X band QSO !

From: YO2IS
 Hello from KN05ps, was pleased to hear and see the
QRSS3 signals from G3KEV on 502.5 KHz up to S3, using
my HM setup, 500KHz/14 MHz conv uA1496, 41m sloping
wire tunned with a 0.3mH vario and GW4ALG like TU, and
ARGO on a 'historic' 475 MHz WIN98se machine...
 Have sent 'O' report on 7033 KHz and we succeded in
a nice X band QSO, received the following msgs:

 YO2IS G3KEV 5NN K  then  IS KEV QSL O O 73 TU SK

 The level of signals was enough for a CW QSO !, its
my best 500m ODX, KN05ps -> IO94sh = 1911 Km... Will
QSLL direct next days...would be happy to get yours.
 Our experimental beacon YO2X will be activated
randomly on 505.723 KHz, QRSS3 and CW id, 50W and
the 41m wire...some day do reactivate also my 137.7...

  73 & DX, Szigy.
