Hi Group
This is very sad news about Laurie G3AQC. I only knew him as a station I had worked on 500kc/s and have only worked him a few times, but to me he was a workable station from my QTH and a presence on the band.
I think everyone will agree that he will be sadly missed on 500kc/s.
To any one who is in contact with his family I would like to pass on my sincere condolences.

I have just been on the phone to Katherine, Laurie's XYL, who confirmed that Laurie had passed away last Sunday morning.
I will liaise with Laurie's family for a write up to go in RadCom's LF column.
