Subject: LF: LF Tuning Aids

Dear LF Group,

I have just uploaded a file (LF_tuning_aids.pdf) to the UK500kHz group site
at http://groups.google.com/group/uk500khz/files.

This is an updated/expanded version of my old "LF tuning meter" article that

has been on G3YXM's web pages for some time. It describes a number of
devices for monitoring antenna matching I have used on 136kHz and 500kHz,
including:

-The original 136kHz LF tuning meter design, indicating voltage, current and

phase, with updates for dual band 136k/500k use.

-The "Scopematch", for displaying antenna feeder voltage and current
waveforms on a dual trace scope

-A couple of simple SWR bridge designs

Hope it proves to be of interest - any comments welcome.

Cheers, Jim Moritz
