Dear Lubos, LF Group,

I don't know where you can get a LFR1000 manual, however Chase were bought by Schaffner about 10 years ago, and Schaffner's test equipment division has now been spun off as Teseq (http://www.teseq.co.uk), so you could try contacting them.
