Ok Richard,
I think I could copy you portable to day , but it was not as strong as
the home signal, looks like we are not that far apart
io83lk , 39.8 miles , ?
Ive no real way of taking a field level , but all I could suggest is you
check , Garys on line display at :-
http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/wgtaylor/grabber1.html
Or if you tx in one of the un-used time slots , net on to 503.7 , the
system checks every 15 mins , you will get a recorded level,
you could use a stop watch to get into the measurement slot if your /p
but you need to be close to frequency
http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/wgtaylor/grabber3.html
These 2 displays have a dB scale ,
Of use ?

Richard,
Your beacon was quite strong the other night into Wallasey, 3 miles
west of Liverpool , what is you power/ae set up ?
Graham
I am running about 15 watts into a T aerial with 40m top and 6m
vertical. This is at 10m above ground level. I estimate the ERP at a
little less than 100mW. I would be grateful for any field strength
measurements.
