Depends on what you intending to run and at home or portable ?
couple of nice home made ones about ... I went for the army surplus special method .. not quite sure which is the more difficult ..getting one running that did
or one that has not 'yet'

Subject: LF: Beacon - 500kHz

I heard someone beaconing on 501.1kHz at 2030 local tonight. Just too
weak to make out the call. Got "test" and QSK before they stopped.

My beacon is on 501.8 now.

Any recommended transverter designs for LF?
