Dear Ha-Jo,

Many thanks for your MF report.

SM6BHZ was a very strong (5 9 9) signal with me but said that he
was having noise problems and only managed to receive ' G3 '.
After I had signed off Finbar GI4DPE also called him.

I was running 90 watts of RF feeding a 40 m inverted 'L' aerial, height 10 m.
I normally run only 50 watts but had increased power to try to make contact.
My RX is a H/B direct conversion type used with a small rotatable active loop aerial.

Hopefully I shall manage to work SM6BHZ when conditions are more favourable.

Subject: LF: G3XIZ and SM6BHZ in eastern Bavaria

Dear all,

on April 4th, 2009 in QTH JN68GN from 20.50 - 20.55 UTC I heard G3XIZ
and SM6BHZ in CW trying to contact each other. But finally SM6BHZ said
"no copy".

Both signals were weak but readable, from time to time a letter was
missing due to quick QSB.

From SM6BHZ I have heard stronger signals earlier; but G3XIZ I heard for
the first time. Condx, however, are no longer as good as in deep
winter.

HW?
