SRI folks, the 600 Watt PA has now been sold. ...and to the several who asked if it would go at 500kHz, the answer is 'No'. At least as it stood; the transformers would have to be rewound with 3 - 4 times the number of turns and it really is a bit OTT using VHF fets at 0.5MHz (sez he who uses a 200W 0.5 to 40MHz BB amp for 500k :-) Andy G4JNT www.g4jnt.com |
