I'm still observing the RUV Radio Iceland AM transmitter on 189kHz from time to
time. Nice to get a propagation feeling for this path :)
qrb Hellissandur -> Berlin city JO62RM is 2505km
rx-ant ab. 20sqm loop 10m agl
rx simple TRF
sample from "the night before" 30.Jan.9 0:12UT - 01:00UT
peak Q4, qsb down to zero, unstable all the time
sample from "this night" 31.Jan.9 0:04UT - 01:00UT
stable Q4, quite strong, only one "shallow" qsb for 2-3min to Q3
Seems to be consistent with Your observations.
