Hi Ken M0KHW
I plan to listen out after a short burst of my
beacon transmission from today until Friday this week, from 1500 to 1530, and
hope to work you some time. I guess my set-up is about the same as
yours. My morse sending is gradually improving, but my reading is
rather slow, so be kind. I usually transmit at about 502.2 kHz, but
let me know if you would prefer different. My metre loop is now
installed on the back fence, pointing North-South, so I should hear you OK. I
heard Chas G3DXZ from Notts yesterday at 1025 Sunday and tried to work him, but
by the time I had my antennas sorted, he was gone.

Hi Ken
I look forward to having a sked with you from
Biggleswade next week as, like you, I have trouble with receiving, while the
transmission seems to be getting out reasonably well. QRM is a
problem here, and I have nearly finished constructiong a 1metre loop aerial
to be positioned at the end of the garden.
