My operators on 6m are all hi speed CW radio amateurs, not appliance operators. The majority of my qso's are on fast CW and ssb the odd time. Try CW on 6m with your 5W, do not dither, you have to be fast to beat the QSB with sporadic E propagation.

With the 5W ERP limit that applies on 6m in the Nievre, I haven't a hope of
competing with Mal's appliance operators, and we don't have 600.

I prefer to devote my efforts to 136 and 17.2.

and further south at present.
