Mal,I never had any trouble driving 2 x 2 Hi power FETS 75n100 with a TC4426 on 137 khz. Power around 1Kw input. On 137kHz the TC4426 works fine. On 500kHz it works pretty good when driving 2 single IRFP350's. But to be on the save side I prefer to have 2 x 2 IRFP350's in parallel and that is too (capacitance) much for a TC4426 at 500kHz. The IR2110 has an output current of 2.5A while it is only 1.5A for the TC4426. Maybe the IR 2110 is better, where is the source of supply? To my own surprise the local electronic shop sells them of the shelf (abt 4 Euro). 73, Rik ON7YD Disclaimer: http://www.kuleuven.be/cwis/email_disclaimer.htm for more information. |
