The argument was instigated by a G3 as well!!!A CW enthusiast no doubt,
and one of Mals "old school real amateurs"?.
Sorry Mal but digital modes are useful to those of us with impairments
that prevent us from having, obtaining or achieving a "CW fist.
So stop this "real radio amateur" and "CW only" crap and allow us to
enjoy the hobby in a way that we enjoy, to the best of our imperfect
abilities.

In depth discussion about how a resistor should be represented on a cct
diagram.
Boxes or squiggles !!!!!!!!
Does it matter, what is wrong with Kilocycles, condensers, and the
traditional squiggle for a resistor. It seem some so called
designers/engineerts and others have nothing better to do than dream up
changes which are not necessary.
Also, how did we all manage in the heyday of HF radio with analogue
systems, not a DIGI in sight, the world still kept spinning.
How about some good RF enigneering and less DC building blocks.
It is more challenging to use an old basic rig, ie Collins, Drake etc
and enjoy natural communications methods like CW and VOICE (AM or SSB).
No complicated digital modes are necessary, just a steady sound CW fist,
good symetrical ears and for some elecution lessons !!
