Hello Mal!I RX your signal into own QSO 503/7033 kHz w/o any modify on FT897D and 1/4 sloper ant for 80m's band. I hope my modest experience will be helpful to all op's WW. FT857 like a FT897 in schematic. RN3AGC and me use a FT897D both. Andy use with a pre-amp G0MRF. I'm use w/o pre amp. FT897D is not so sensible on 136 kHz, but really sensible on 500. * mal <[email protected]> [Tue, 3 Jun 2008 15:04:37 -0000]: Has anyone modified a FT857 for tx on 500 khz or tried it on RX 500 Mal/G3KEV -- Roman RW3ADB. |
