Mal, If UK stations who hold an NoV wish to experiment or research in their own way what is wrong with that? If they are operating & experimenting within the terms of the amateur licence & NoV then NO PROBLEM !! Gary - G4WGT. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of mal Sent: 11 May 2008 14:20 To: rsgb Subject: LF: email qso I can hear a stn calling CQ on 500 khz and pse qsl via EMAIL !!!!!!!!!!!! The trend on 500 seems to be Beacon mode and reply via email or watch your own signal on a Grabber !!!!!! Real QSO'S on this band are very rare. Is this what was intended when permits were issued to experiment on 500? G3KEV |
