Subject: LF: SAQ transmission on April 22nd
Just as a reminder, tomorrow April 22nd there will one of the test
transmissions of the Swedish station SAQ. I plan to connect an active
antenna directly to the line input of the sound card and use Winrad as
a receiver !
Here following the message from Willi SM6OMH.

Hi all,
SAQ is the ID of a vlf vintage tubeless transmitter (alternator)
located at Grimeton, Sweden, and is declared by UNESCO as Cultural
World Heritage. Beside the official transmissions in July and on
Christmas Eve, test transmissions are conducted from time to time to
maintain and service the equipment.
The next test transmission will take place on April 22 nd. 10:00 utc.
11:00 local time. SAQ engineers are interested to receive reports on
signal strength and shape of the keyed carrier. Reports can be sent to
:
[email protected]
Reports sent to [email protected] will be conveyed by me to SAQ.
Best listening
SM6OMH Willi
