Dear Peter,

interesting! In January 1958 I was lying on the roads before Christmas
Island on DCUW, coming from Tahiti. Our ship has had a broken boiler,
and we got oil and water from the supply ships lying there, to be able
to proceed to Honolulo. Both boilers had to get new heater tubes in
Vancouver.
