Further info on my QSO with Rik OR7T last night, I was using a tunable
pre-amp with a gain of 3 - 10dB gain in front of my Kenwood TS140 )used as
RX only), the antenna is a 102ft doublet with the 8m section of vertical 430
ohm feeder commoned at the Variometer. The TX was producing 600mA into the
antenna.

That 477 is an interesting report!

"Readable with practically no difficulty, moderately strong signals,
near pure tone with trace of ripple modulation."

Don't hear too many "non-T9" reports these days...
