Has anyone had any success, or otherwise, with the WSJT JT2 or JT4 modes on LF?
Joe would love to hear of any LF use of these. Also I'd like to include something, in Feb's Data coluumn in RadCom. It looks ideal - narrow bandwidth, constant amplitude, good error correction. Joe reckons a similar performance to JT65, and after monitoring GB3VHF and the GB3RALs, it does have considerable low noise performance - well below audibility - so probably 10dB better than normal CW . JT2 and 4 can be used with narrower bandwidths, still, so a further proportional enhancement should be seen.
Also, is there much PSK31 used? I see from the reflector that there seems to be plenty of narrow shift RTTY, but with more people using linear transverters on 500kHz, PSK31 probably ought to have the edge.
