I have now solved the parallel port problem reported earlier. I tried a suggestion from Alan, G3NYK, (thanks Alan) but that didn't fix it. In the end I deleted all of the programs that were on the computer when I got it (secondhand), and the relevant pin sits at 0V all the time except when I am keying. I suspect one of the programs was periodically checking the port. de Mike, G3XDV ============ |
