LF: Decca Jeep

Hi all
I wonder how many old 5501 Decca jeeps are still in use on 136 khz, they are
such a big heap, and require odd ball voltages.
It is so easy to build a compact custom designed class D/E FET amplifier for
both 136 and 500 that the jeep mods are not worth bothering about.
I have two relegated to the cellar and a man near Hull stripped 5
transmitters for scrap, no amateurs in the area wanted them.
