Hi Jim, LF,
You will have seen my previous mail by now.
The software TrueTTY has a beacon mode, the text is written into a macro
button & there is a beacon period setting which I have set at 60 seconds.
Another nice feature is that you can set it to listen for your call sign &
if someone calls you it turns the beacon off. Not tried that so I don't know
if it warns you or not.
The software only has 30 days use before registration, I liked it so much
that I registered it for abou £30. It will send FSK via the serial port so
thats how I can use RTTY etc with the G0MRF Tx & my DDS VFO using the CW
offset feature.
Please mail LF group if you are copying my signal again.

Dear Graham, Gary, LF Group,
Nil here since about 1950utc or so ... since I sent my last e-mail in
fact!
I assume Gary has shut down - the fades seemed to go in cycles of about
5 -
10 minutes, so I should have seen him again by now. There were some faint
traces of something on 503.0k earlier, but could have just been noise.
BTW Gary, what are you using to repeat the transmissions (assuming it
isn't
being done manually...)? Seems quite a useful feature.
Cheers, Jim Moritz
