Whilst driving around Surrey and Sussex this afternoon around 1430Z I heard G3KEV (Cqing )10dB15dB above noise, easy  CW copy, G3XIZ (Cq) and G0MRF very useful beacon  both avg 20dB above noise. I put Argo on  and could see the German beacon on 505.18 weakly at dot 10.

I stopped up on Box hill nr Dorking and tried my portable 15t 1 metre square with amp loop compared with the E probe on the magmount. The E probe won by a dB or two s/n wise but had to ground the cables to the chassis to stop the emissiong from the computer knocking things out.

I tuned to 137Khz and my my the band is crowded over here with all sorts of  signals!
